Lois & Ed wedding film
About the Couple
Venue – Poggio Piglia
Why do you want to capture your wedding on video?
The day is going to be an emotional one due to Ed recovering from a spinal cord injury that he sustained in April 2017. We would like to capture the emotion and also the smiles and laughter! We would like to keep it forever as a reminder of how far we’ve come and how lucky we are.
Why did you pick us?
Love the films on your website!
You guys? …What do you do?..How do you spend your days?..What’s important in life? etc etc
Both very sporty. Ed was a professional rugby player and I have played netball at a high level until this year.
We love our friends, family, food and a good party! Most weekends are spent either cooking amazing food with friends or visiting friends and eating good food!
We love travelling and our aim for the honeymoon is to go travelling for 6 months-1 year to escape!
We also love our two dogs Molly and Barry (unfortunately they won’t be attending the wedding!)
Both really enjoy hiking and climbing mountains.
Most of our time at the moment is attending physio sessions however! Oh and drinking a lot of coffee.
The proposal? …Tell me everything (all the gushy details)
On a unplanned dog walk in the Cotswolds before meeting family for lunch at The Feathered Nest.
Walking along and Ed says ‘You know how much I love you’ and then I turned around and he was down on one knee with the most amazing ring! I was definitely in shock as although I knew we would get hitched one day I didn’t think it would be in that moment! We then spent the rest of the weekend in London telling friends and his dad threw a party for us in Bath on the Sunday. It was very fun!
The Venue/s? … Why this place above anywhere else?
Ed and I have stayed at Poggio Piglia twice before and we loved the views and the staff. We wanted to get married in the sunshine and we LOVE Italian wine and food! We also have the hotel from Friday – Monday so it will be a real party.
What experience do you want to give to your guests?
Fun and lots of love!
