Lucy & Sean
About the Couple
Venue – Notley Tythe Barn
Why do you want to capture your wedding on video?
So we don’t miss a thing and have memories to treasure for ever of our friends, family and loved ones all in one place.
Why did you pick us to do your wedding videography?
Because even though we haven’t seen eachother for a while I’ve known you as a friend for some time now and I trust you 100% and that is so important to us. Your both such a lovely couple and easy to get along with and I know we would feel so comfortable having you there working your magic and from what I’ve seen of your videos so far I think it would suit our wedding perfectly.
You guys? …What do you do?..How do you spend your days?..What’s important in life? etc etc
Sean- golf, rugby. Works as a carpenter. Lucy – shopping, being with the girls, works as a Pre-School teacher. Family and friends are the most important thing. I’ve recently been so touched by my friends best friend Emmy who has recently passed away and her life motto was “Smile, Love and be Kind” which is something that I completely live by too and in her memory we will honour forever. It will be in a frame at the wedding on one of the tables.
The proposal? …Tell me everything (all the gushy details)
Be warned it’s long and very cheesy! 🙂
We were skiing in France, last minute holiday so I (Lucy) had no idea what was going to happen.
We had to go down our last slope of the day to get to the car, the slopes were near enough empty and the sun lowering. Sean being a confident snowboarder told me to meet him at the picnic area half way down the slope of which I did (on my skis, not as fast as he) we sat on the picnic bench all alone facing the beautiful view of the mountain I was sitting leaning with my back against his chest in between his legs whilst he cuddled me then out of no where he presented me with a snowball and said there was something for me inside. I opened it up and the ring was sparkling through the wet snow, I turned to the side of me to see sean down on one knee asking me to marry him. We then cuddled and I cried (of course) and he then kicked this mountain of snow which presented a bottle of prosecco and 2 champagne glasses which he had been hiding. We then continued to take in the moment and rang our friends we were with to come and join us.
Told you it was cheesy!! Lol
So, Notley Tythe Barn? … Why this place above anywhere else?
It is so perfect for us, a barn wedding was what we wanted from the start as neither of us are very religious.
The barn inside was so beautiful with the beams and the lights twinkling. We wanted our venue to be of a good size but not huge and pretty to look at.
What experience do you want to give to your guests?
We want everyone to be able to relax and have fun and celebrate with us. We are both quite a chilled out couple so we want everyone to come and go as they please and enjoy a drink and a dance 🙂
We will be having a live band so hopefully that will get people up on the dance floor.
